Imagine a world where you can bring one-hundred percent of your true self to work and encourage others to do the same. In the midst of sustained stress and uncertain times, our relationship with ourselves, our colleagues and our employers is radically changing. In both our personal and work lives we are being called to question and clarify what really matters, realign our priorities and relate to each other in a more compassionate and people-centered way.
“100% Human - The Power of People-Centered Work” is a unique thought-provoking and experiential virtual workshop series that presents a relevant, integrated and holistic view of what people-centered work looks like at work and what is needed to support it. Whether you are a leader, manager or individual contributor inside an organization, you will walk away with the latest workplace research trends, strategies and tools that can be put to use for yourself and others to find more connection, harmony and meaning in your professional life.
The workshop series begins with a ninety-minute introduction, which can be a standalone experience or be combined with other 100% Human workshops. Participants become familiar with our three-part “100% Human” model that provides the framework to better understand the fundamental relationship between work and self, how to build healthy and trusting relationships with coworkers and, on a larger scale, the opportunity to create and sustain people-centered community and culture within organizations. More 100% Human workshops are in development. Each takes a deeper dive into a specific topic, such as trust and empathy, human-centered communication, identity and authenticity, as well as leading teams with head and heart.
About the Facilitators
100% Human workshops are co-facilitated by Jen Paragas, owner of Paragas & Associates, and Rachel Schaffer, Principal Consultant of Big Tent Consulting. Destined to meet early in their careers at a fledgling, but fast-growing cable network, Discovery Channel, Jen and Rachel pioneered the network’s first process for screening documentary ideas that were submitted from around the globe. During this time they became fast friends and had amazing work adventures together. After Discovery, they stayed connected through lots of life and work changes. Fast forward to the present, their work experience and expertise not only intersects, but they share a fierce passion for what enables people to be authentic and thrive in the workplace. They were inspired to create this workshop in response to the human revolution that is happening at work right now as a result of the pandemic, our country’s reckoning with systemic racism, as well as the economic and environmental crises we are facing.
